Ian was brought up on a farm in County Antrim, N Ireland. In his teens he gave his life to Jesus Christ. After working for a few years he felt a strong call to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. As he was completing his studies at Union Theological College, Belfast he became aware of a great need for Bible College Tutors in Nigeria.

Ian married Sandra and then as a couple they left for Nigeria in October 1975, with the Qua Iboe Mission (now Mission Africa). They worked at the Samuel Bill Theological College. After furlough they were transferred to Ankpa to re-open the Bible School, that had been closed due to lack of staff and students. The Bible school was re-opened under the name, Peter Achimugu College of Theology (PACT). Ian was appointed Principal.

Ian and Sandra with their two sons returned home to N. Ireland in 1985. Ian was installed as Pastor/Minister of two churches in County Tyrone, N. Ireland. He retired from the ministry with the churches in September 2010 and became Minister Emeritus. Since then he has continued as Pastoral visitor of another congregation.

Ian has written several books that have been in great demand. Take time to peruse the following ‘book list’ and consider what interests you, for personal enjoyment or spiritual growth.
